Aislinn Derbez is one of the most well-known and respected Mexican actresses of her generation working in both the U.S. and Mexico. She was born and raised in Mexico City, to artist Gabriela Michel and Eugenio Derbez, who is considered one of the greatest Mexican actors and comedians alive. She is the granddaughter of Mexican star Silvia Derbez.
Aislinn’s acting career began after her studies in NYC, in 2009, in the Mexican film industry and participated in several movies and TV series in Mexico, South America and Europe. She has starred in more than 15 feature films in the last seven years and several TV series. She starred in the film "A LA Mala" which was a top box office hit in Mexico.
In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles and starred in independent films and series including the NETFLIX original movie "Win it All" opposite Jake Johnson, directed by Joe Swanberg, and starred in the Netflix anthology series "EASY."
Aislinn stars in (and Executive Produced) the feature film “Hazlo Como Hombre” which is being released by Pantelion/Lionsgate on Labor Day.
She and her husband Mauricio Ochmann own the production company "A Toda Madre Entertainment" in Los Angeles, and are producing content in Mexico and the US. Most recently, they acquired feature film rights to The New York Times’ best-selling author Don Miguel Ruiz’s book “The Toltec Art of Life and Death.”
