Carlo Olivares Paganoni is a Director, Writer and Producer living in Los Angeles, CA. His experience includes directing spots and campaigns for MTV Tr3s, Disney XD, as well as several short films.
Originally from Mexico, Carlo studied Screenwriting at UCLA and later graduated with an MFA in Film from Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena. His thesis short film "Cardboard Camera" won a student Emmy®.
Previously, Carlo worked as an On-Air Writer/Producer for Cartoon Network Latin America where he was Executive Producer of Santo Contra Los Clones, an animated series based on the famous Mexican superhero-wrestler Santo, El Enmascarado de Plata.
As a Creative, his work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, The One Show, Art Directors Club, The New York Festivals, FIAP, HOW, Ad Age Hispanic Awards, Círculo de Oro México, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, LIMA Licensing Awards, Promax Latin America & Promax BDA.
As a Director, his work has been recognized by several film festivals, including LA Shorts Fest, International Family Film Festival, Big Bear Lake International Film Festival, "Cortos de Yahoo!" Yahoo en Español and San Diego Latino Film Festival.
He currently works for Disney XD, where he writes, produces and directs on-air promo campaigns and content.
