Francisco Cáceres is a three-time Emmy winner host and producer. He’s currently the Film Expert for Telemundo’s national morning show, Un Nuevo Día; and the Host of his own weekly film show on DirecTV Latin America, OnCINEMA. He’s also the Main Anchor for Fandango Cine, the Spanish version of the popular Movie-Ticketing website fandango.com. His experience as a correspondent includes coverage of the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Grammys, Latin Grammys, and the Cannes, Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals. Besides, he has conducted exclusive interviews with some of the most important personalities in entertainment, including Will Smith, Jennifer López, Sandra Bullock, Bono, Madonna, Salma Hayek, George Clooney, among others. He is also a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) that every year hands out the prestigious Critics’ Choice Awards. Francisco started his career in his native El Salvador at the age of 20, hosting and producing various entertainment TV and radio shows like Ticket con Francisco Cáceres, his own weekly film show that started on Canal 6 and eventually expanded to Cinemark movie theaters in the rest of Central America and Colombia. Behind the scenes, he has directed, written and produced 2 short films, 20 TV Spots and he has created 5 TV Shows in different genres (entertainment, sports, musicals and game shows). Furthermore, he presented his short film Bebé a primera vista (Baby at first sight) at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival and was recognized with 3 Daytime Emmy Awards in 2014, 2015 & 2017 as a Correspondent and Producer of the Best Morning Show in Spanish, Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Día. Born in El Salvador, Francisco earned a Master’s Degree in Filmmaking from the Madrid Film School (ECAM) and King Juan Carlos University. He also graduated with honors as first of his class from a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications at Central American University UCA in San Salvador. He speaks Spanish, English and French.
