As a Directors Guild of America (DGA) member since 1996, Vincent Gonzales has more than 20 years experience in the Hollywood film industry. From low budget independents to the biggest films and TV shows of the time, Vince has worked steadily around the country and internationally. He has been involved in the DGA 2nd AD committee and the DGA Latino Committee. He is also a mentor for the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, Annual Producer's Academy.
In addition, Vince participates in many speaking engagements on industry topics bringing helpful insights and interesting stories to light. Vince’s speaking engagements have included the Denver Comic Con, the Boulder Filmmaking Incubator, the Colorado Film Forum and various engagements with the Colorado Film Commission at Colleges and Universities around the state. Vince thrives on passing on his vast knowledge to others and strives to be a mentor to those pursuing a career in the industry.
Vince recently completed the movie Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket as a Production Supervisor on Nantucket Island. Last year he could be found in Oklahoma on the feature film Te Ata or in Chicago working on the ABC TV Series Mind Games with Christian Slater and Steve Zahn. Vince also worked on the hit TV show The Walking Dead where his role had him preparing the daily call sheet, overseeing the movements of the crew and ensuring that all actors were ready for filming by coordinating transportation, make-up and wardrobe timetables. “When you work on such intense sets for such long hours, week after week, you become part of a family...and I am very proud of my on-set families and what we have accomplished together.”
