With over 18 years of experience in standup, Al Madrigal has parlayed his talents as a comedian into successful off-stage careers as an actor, correspondent, and podcaster. Since 2011, Madrigal has filed regular correspondent pieces for the Emmy Award-winning The Daily Show. He can currently be seen on the Jim Carrey produced Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here, where he also serves as consulting producer. Madrigal has also been seen on NBC's About A Boy; Free Agents, Welcome to the Captain; Gary Unmarried; The Tax Me; and The Ortegas, where he was the series lead. His newest standup special, Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy premiered in 2017 on Showtime. In 2013, Madrigal and Bill Burr launched the All Things Comedy network (ATC)founded, owned and operated entirely by comedians. The network currently has 6 million downloads per month. Madrigal lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
