Day Al-Mohamed is an author, filmmaker, and disability policy strategist with over 15 years of experience. She is author of Baba Ali and the Clockwork Djinn and The Labyrinth’s Archivist as well as non-fiction essays including, Inspired, for PBS’ American Masters. Her documentary, The Invalid Corps, was screened on public television in December 2020. She is a Founding Member of FWD-Doc (Documentary Filmmakers with Disabilities) and serves on the Board of Docs in Progress. Day lives in Washington DC with her wife, NR Brown and guide dog, Gamma.
