Director International Originals, Netflix
Diego J. Avalos is responsible for business development and strategy for Latin America and Spain in the International Originals team at Netflix. This role requires sourcing and developing fresh and exciting series that will be available to a global audience in 190 countries. The Spain and Latin America slate includes 13 series in four countries which is just the beginning.
Before joining Netflix, Diego was Head of Business Development for Latin America and the US Hispanic Market at Yahoo. He started his career in consulting at Deloitte. Diego graduated from Santa Clara University and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
