Eddie is a Cuban-American writer, actor and Emmy-winning producer from Miami, Florida. An alumnus of The Second City in Chicago, Eddie wrote and performed in two critically acclaimed resident stage revues after traveling the country with The Second City National Touring Company. Since moving to Los Angeles, his credits include the CBS Diversity Showcase, NBC Late Night Writers' Workshop, Broadway Video's Mas Mejor, and the HBO ACCESS Writing Fellowship where he developed a pilot for the premium network. Eddie's short films have received critical acclaim; Dreamer was named one of Vulture’s Best Comedy Videos of 2018 and Uno Por Uno: The Cuban Missile Crisis won Best Web Series at HBO’s NYLFF as well as Cine Sony’s “New Voices." One of his pilots was selected for the 2020 NALIP Latino Media Market. Eddie recently staffed on the NBC comedy Connecting and is currently a writer on the upcoming NBC/Peacock comedy True Story with Ed Helms & Randall Park.
