GLADYS RODRIGUEZ is a Television Writer/Producer born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. Her writing credits include SONS OF ANARCHY, STAR, CW’s DYNASTY, SELENA for Netflix and Starz’s critically acclaimed Latinx drama, VIDA. She is currently in development on a couple projects as well as writing for an Untitled Netflix limited series. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2002 with a B.A. in Film and Communications and soon after was chosen as an Academy of Television Arts and Sciences intern which moved her out to Los Angeles to pursue her TV writing career. From there, she was employed as a Writer’s Assistant and Script Coordinator and has worked on over a dozen TV shows. Gladys was also a participant in the CBS Writers on the Verge program. In 2012 she was nominated for a WGA Award for Outstanding Achievement In Writing Derivative New Media for her Sons of Anarchy Webisodes: “Pay Phone,” “Mexican Basketball,” “Tara and Piney,” and “Jax Meets His Second Son.” In late 2018, she developed and produced the greatest project of her life, her first child. She lives in Glendale, Ca. with her husband, her English Bulldog, Stella, and her son, Lucas.
