Janice got her break as an assistant to director Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, who responded to her cold email about wanting to meet and learn more about film. She went on to explore book-to-film adaptations through internships with Indian Paintbrush and the WME Books Department. After college, she got her start at UTA in the Independent Film Packaging Group, working on films such as DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL and THE END OF THE TOUR, before transitioning to the agency’s TV Literary Department where she serviced clients such as Jill Soloway, Semi Chellas, and Betsy Beers. After a brief stint as an Account Manager at the start-up ClassPass, Janice returned to LA to work at Warner Bros. Pictures before joining Made Up Stories in early 2017. Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Janice is a first generation Korean-American and graduated from Cornell University where she studied Information Science and Film.
