Jason is the Director of Animation Development at Nickelodeon for movies, as well as series for streaming. He studied Communications and Chinese at Manhattanville College in New York, and spent a year working just outside of Shanghai after graduating. Since moving to Los Angeles, he’s worked for various entertainment companies such as United Talent Agency, Warner Animation Group, and DreamWorks Animation. Jason joined the Nickelodeon family at the start of 2019 and is working across a number of exciting projects in both features and television, relishing the opportunity to champion a new generation of diverse storytellers. He is an avid fan of rock climbing, Twizzlers, MisterBubz (the angry Instagram chihuahua), and finally not feeling embarrassed about perusing the YA section of a bookstore. Prior to moving to LA, Jason helped develop Camp Half Blood Brooklyn, a real-life Greek Mythology themed summer camp in Brooklyn, NY inspired by the fictional setting in the popular Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, which is now approaching its eleventh summer running, and has expanded to cities all around the United States.
