Joel Meares is the Editor-in-Chief of Rotten Tomatoes and splits his time between New York and L.A. As EiC, Joel has spearheaded a transformation of Rotten Tomatoes’ original content offering, launching successful premium video series with some of the biggest names in entertainment and significantly growing audience and engagement for editorial coverage and on social channels. He has positioned Rotten Tomatoes as a major awards season voice and a leading discussion platform for fans and produced Rotten Tomatoes’ first book – Rotten Movies We Love. Prior to joining RT, he was Global Editor-in-Chief of Time Out and Arts Editor at The Sydney Morning Herald. His first book, We're All Going To Die (Especially Me), was released in 2015. He has appeared on The Today Show, CBS This Morning, Al Jazeera International, Cheddar, and more.
