Joel Novoa is an accomplished television director and producer. Joel is the executive producer of the superhero show "El Gato Negro" for M.G.M. He recently directed three "Arrow" episodes for Warner Brothers. One of those episodes was named “Best
Episode of the year” by several specialty sites. Joel’s slate in film includes directing "God's Slave," which has won 18 international awards and has been included in more than 75 festival official selections. The movie received worldwide theatrical release and a Netflix deal. He also directed “ID 2: Shadwell Army”, which premiered in 25 screens across U.K, as well as "The Nanny," and “Day of Reckoning” for Universal, which became one of 2016's top grossing films for Syfy Channel. Joel was born in New York, but grew up in Caracas, Venezuela. He is the recipient of the prestigious Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award 2012 for his contributions as a director, the Caucus Foundation Award 2012, and the Deluxe merit for best director 2011.
