Sara Diya Rastogi was born, raised, and educated in Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas with a film degree, she moved to LA to pursue producing on a larger scale. She got her start at DreamWorks Studios before moving over to Scott Free, where she worked on features from The Counselor to The Martian and was promoted to Creative Executive. She was then brought over to Twentieth Century Fox and was subsequently poached by Columbia Pictures. While at Columbia, Sara worked on Men In Black and He Man, as well as building the feature residency program that is now an active deal with Issa Rae. After closing the deal, she moved over to ColorCreative as VP of Production to help oversee the partnership and expand Issa's brand through ColorCreative, focusing on emerging voices in a variety of formats.
