Now with over 10 years experience in the US Hispanic market, Sarah started her career at a US Hispanic advertising agency, catering to the Spanish speaking, first generation Latinos. After realizing the lack of services for the millennial Latino audience, in 2011 Sarah launched French Toast Agency, a public relations agency specializing in the US Hispanic millennial market. With the main focus on music talents, French Toast has represented Warner Music Latina (Sofia Reyes), Atlantic Records (Snow Tha Product), Universal Music Latin (Luis Fonsi & Demi Lovato - Echame La Culpa release) and Sony Music (Diego Boneta), Latina Magazine, L’Oreal and more. French Toast Agency works very closely with all labels, music streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora), traditional media, social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Musical.ly) and promoters (Live Nation). In 2017, Sarah Duru opened the Latin Division of Studio 71, overseeing all business development for both U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets. In less than a year, the division has managed to reach more than 300 million monthly views with their roster of premium talent, which includes Salice Rose, Del Records, and Isabel Bedoya. The Latin Division provides distinct and innovative avenues to aid their clients in building and maintaining successful careers. Their achievements include creating the first Latin music channel on Roku with Del Records, Salice Rose’s collaboration with Burger King, Luis Fonsi’s tour with La Divaza and successful campaigns with Warner to launch Maite Perroni and Sofia Reyes’ new releases.
